A firm focused on one standard, done properly.

Prairie Accessibility helps Manitoba organizations meet the Accessible Information and Communication Standard. We work only on accessibility compliance, and we keep the process clear, documented and fixed in price.

Why we exist

One in four Canadians has a disability.

About 27% of Canadians aged 15 and over reported one or more disabilities in 2022, according to Statistics Canada. For many of them, a website that cannot be used with a keyboard or a screen reader is a closed door.

Manitoba’s standard now requires that door to be open. Most organizations want to comply but don’t know where to start, and many are told they need a whole new website. Usually they don’t. We focus on fixing what exists, documenting it properly, and making sure the business can keep it compliant.
